Well Hi Everybody,

John is  from Denton, TX.  While John was growing up in a household consisting of his mom,  dad, sister, and numerous dogs, he also liked to participate in various activities. He spent a good deal of time playing baseball, football, basketball, swimming, orchestra, and he even took a crack at competitive cheerleading . These various activities taught him the value of teamwork, community building, compassion, and most certainly, how to have fun doing what you love!

After trying out several disciplines, John discovered a passion for performing through his experience competing in the 2016 and 2017 National High School Musical Theater Awards through portraying the roles of Bert in Mary Poppins and Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors.

John is now a recent graduate of the Texas State Musical Theatre program under the direction of Kaitlin Hopkins. While in school he found a passion for mental wellness and awareness, and he found the life mantras of process>product, finding gratitude in the present moment, and live more - worry less.  A few more nuggets of wisdom that he has lived by include: breathe through your feet, live unapologetically as yourself, treat others (esp. self) with kindness, compassion, and a willingness to learn, stay curious, fail forward and any limitation is a chance to be creative!

John's hobbies include rock climbing, live streaming, juggling, throwing a frisbee with friends, grabbing a good ole' cup of Joe, loving on his dogs, listening to audiobooks,  fitness and wellness practices,  and a good conversation about the seemingly endless beauties and blessings that life has to offer.
